Xavi Razo wins NASCAR Mexico in Guadalajara

After winning his first race so far this season, Xavi Razo from La Plaza de Córdoba Café, LÖSEN, Orpack, PIPSA,Enlace Ambiental, Contempora PET Envases de Occidente, Car MotionSports,M&A, added a large number of points in the Tlajomulco Trióvalo


 The fourth date of NASCAR Mexico ended with the victory of Razo who, due to his driving force and the great potential of his Chevrolet, surpassed García Jr. of Canel's-Logitech who could only settle for the escort position despite his attempts to overcome to the winner, while the third step of the podium went to the one who had kept the pole, Abraham Calderón of Commscope-Telcel. There were 7 yellow flags and the first one occurred on lap 22 due to a hit by Max Gutiérrez's car at turn 1 and although he rejoined the competition he had already lost several laps, it was on lap 33 when the second appeared due to a crash Rodrigo Rejón at turn 1 and Germán Quiroga is penalized with a pit stop for aggressive driving and then they do it again because he stopped in his box.

 Rafael Vallina was penalized with passing through the pits, as he had one more mechanic than the regulation establishes, in the care of car No. 0, as was Juan Manuel González. The third yellow was a crash at turn 3 between Gerardo Nieto and Alex de Alba and the first of them was punished with a pit stop for reckless driving, while the fourth was caused by Jake Cosio at turn 3

 At the restart of the race the fifth was ours and the red flag also appeared due to a multiple collision between Julio Rejón, Germán Quiroga and Juan Manuel González. The sixth yellow appears near the end due to a hit between Andrés Pérez de Lara, Andrik Dimayuga and Gerardo Nieto in turn 1, the seventh was a competition one.

 The race had only 3 leaders who were Calderón who was overtaken on lap 8 by Rubén García, since he recovered on lap 43 and with little to go the vanguard was left in the hands of Razo who crossed the finish line first.

 "It's a dream result because it had been long in coming even though we've been looking for it in every race, this win belongs to everyone and we're going for more", said Xavi.

 Regarding García Jr., he clarified that the result is not bad because he is very close to the leader of the championship, although he would have liked to cross the finish line first,

 “It is a result that hurts because we had a car to win, but we ran out of rubber and the last yellow card hurt us,” Calderón commented.
